Prior to joining the Upper Merion Township Police Department on July 24, 2017, Officer Nicholson had served in the Royersford Borough and Amity Township police departments.
Troy Marcel Nicholson had received his diplomas from the Reading Police Academy and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Troy Marcel was an exemplary employee who genuinely cared for his fellow officers and the residents of Upper Merion Township. His kind and compassionate nature endeared him to all who knew him.
