What Subject Questions are Asked in TET Exams?

TET exams

TET 2022 examination (Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers in government and private schools. Every state in India has different TET examinations like UPTET, WBTET, MAHA TET, etc. However, every aspirant can apply for the TET conducted by the Central government, known as CTET. CBSE conducts the examination.

TET exams are divided into two papers. Both the papers contain Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy. The questions in CTET exams are posted in English and Hindi languages, while for the state TET exam, Hindi is substituted for the state official language.

Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy is the main subject for clearing TET exams. It helps the candidates understand the educational psychology of a child. It ensures that teachers are aware of the methods and practices of teaching, primarily concerned with theoretical concepts of academic subjects. 

The candidates learn about teaching styles, receive feedback, and use assessments for improvement and boost learning.

  1. Environmental Science

The questions under the Environment Science section are related to environmental issues, plants, food, state-specific animals and birds, trees, energy, atmosphere, habitats, etc. It also includes questions on society, social skills, and situations related to family, friends, relationships, etc.
