Tragically, Walewska’s life came to an untimely end on the evening of September 21, 2023, while she was en route to São Paulo for the launch of her book. The circumstances surrounding her passing are currently under investigation by the Civil Police. It is reported that she fell from the 17th floor of a building in the Jardins neighborhood, west of central São Paulo, at 6:09 pm on that fateful date.
According to a police report disclosed by the newspaper O Tempo, Walewska left a letter on the leisure area table, accompanied by a partially filled bottle of wine and a glass. Additionally, a cell phone and a folder containing the letter were found, suggesting that it may have been a farewell message from her.
The tragic death of Walewska Oliveira is currently being investigated as a suicide, casting a somber shadow over the world of sports and beyond.
