Sarah Arnold was born on April 5, 2007, and had just turned 16 at the time of her tragic passing. She was a sophomore at Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was known for her athletic prowess, striking beauty, and impressive intelligence. Sarah actively participated in various school clubs and extracurricular activities, earning the admiration of her peers and teachers.
Sarah Arnold Cause of Death
Regrettably, Sarah’s life was cut short by an apparent suicide when she leaped from the second floor of her school building. She had been grappling with the heavy burden of depression, which was exacerbated by a series of bullying and shaming incidents she endured.
The heart-wrenching incident has left the entire school community in a state of profound shock and sorrow. The Phoenix, Arizona community, too, has been deeply impacted by this tragedy, emphasizing the urgency of open discussions surrounding mental health and the importance of extending support to those in distress.
Sarah Arnold is survived by her parents, Jennifer Rebecca and Norman Larry Arnold, Jr., her brother Varn Michael Arnold, her loyal friend Calum Muldoon, as well as her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel in Phoenix, AZ. Services to remember Sarah will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Phoenix, AZ, followed by a private burial at Oak Hill Burial Park.
