Chai Zi, a local artist who was present during Cheng’s passing, shared details of the incident, stating that Cheng was in the midst of filming for the social media channel Squad Sekawan when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The day began normally, with the team arriving at Damansara around 8 am and commencing filming at 8:30 am after having breakfast. According to Chai Zi, Cheng appeared perfectly fine at that time. However, when preparing for the second episode around 10:30 am, Cheng expressed feeling dizzy, nauseous, and experiencing a headache.
Chai Zi, who co-founded Squad Sekawan with Cheng and a few other friends, further explained that an ambulance was called for when Cheng vomited. Even in this critical moment, Cheng was conscious and provided the passcode to her mobile phone, allowing the staff to contact her boyfriend for medical records.
Despite the staff’s first aid efforts, Cheng’s condition deteriorated rapidly. Chai Zi recounted, “Queenzy was still breathing when she lost consciousness. However, her heart was beating very fast. Soon after, her lips, hands, and feet turned purple.”
An ambulance reportedly arrived within five minutes, but despite the attempts to resuscitate her, Cheng could not be revived and was declared dead.
