On July 25, 2023, a 17-year-old girl named Louella Acaylar was reported missing. She was a senior high student in grade 11 at Culianan National High School and lived in Barangay Pasobolong, Zamboanga City.
The last sighting of her was in a jeep near Culianan, where she was dressed in a pink blouse and maong attire. Tragically, her body was discovered the following day close to the Super Highway in Zone 3 of Pasobolong.

The Philippine National Police conducted a CCTV examination and found a camera, a bag, and rubber sandals near the deceased person’s body. The PNP is openly considering the possibility that these items may be connected to the case of potential s*xual abuse involving the victim.
The police are actively investigating this distressing case and are currently conducting an autopsy to ascertain the cause of Louella Acaylar death. Our thoughts and sympathies go out to her family and friends during this difficult and heartbreaking time.
