He is preceded in death by his father, John Skipworth, Sr.

Surviving him are his mother, Brenda Medlin Brown; his devoted wife, Brooke Hibbard Skipworth; his cherished children, Finley, Fisher, and Foster; his sister, Tamara Duran; as well as his niece, Demi Duran, and nephew, Dalton Duran.
