Cayden Moore, a 19-year-old resident of Oneida, New York, was a graduate of Oneida High School and a student at Mohawk Valley Community College.
Cayden Moore had a profound passion for music, sports, and video games. Beyond his personal interests, Cayden was a cherished son, brother, and friend to numerous individuals. He was celebrated for his kindness, humor, and generosity, actively participating in community initiatives and events. This included volunteering at the local food pantry, being part of a band, and coaching youth basketball.
Cayden Moore had a promising future ahead of him and aspired to pursue a career in engineering or computer science. Tragically, on October 12, 2023, his life was abruptly ended due to a devastating shooting incident. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation, with some sources suggesting it may have been a suicide. His family and friends are deeply affected by this loss, yearning for justice and closure during this challenging time.
In an effort to commemorate Cayden’s memory and assist with the expenses for his funeral, his loved ones have established a GoFundMe page. Cayden Moore will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known and cared for him.
