Born in New Orleans, LA, on October 7, 1966, Ashley embodied the spirit of the city, enriched by its vibrant culture. Survived by her father, Alan Hardy, and preceded in death by her mother, Joanne McClellan Hardy, Ashley graduated from Little Rock Christian High School and earned her undergraduate degree in Business from LSU. Fueling her passion for learning, she later obtained an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Tulane University in the heart of New Orleans.

On August 21, 2000, Ashley Prince exchanged vows with Mark Prince on the Pacific Ocean island of Fiji. After residing in Hattiesburg, MS, for 5 years, the Princes established their home in Tupelo 18 years ago. Known for her infectious personality and a heart of service, Ashley easily made friends and dedicated herself to various charitable organizations in the Tupelo area. She held a special place on the board of the Regional Rehabilitation Center, and as a longstanding Ambassador for CDF, she attended numerous ribbon-cutting ceremonies, spreading joy with her vibrant smile.
Passionate about animals and art, Ashley was a former partner in Caron Gallery with Kim Caron and frequently visited the Gumtree Museum of Art. Her residence showcased numerous pieces of original artwork. As a freelance social media marketing specialist, she spent several years as the Sales and Marketing Director for Local Mobile Food Truck. Transitioning from being an LSU fan to a devoted supporter of Ole Miss, Ashley and her family were active members of The Orchard.
Ashley’s life was marked by positivity and significance. She served as a constant encourager to her wide circle of friends and her children, leaving the world better than she found it. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
